How do you answer, "What are your compensation requirements?"

I'm applying for a job online to a marketing corporation and one of the
questions is, "what are your compensation requirements?" The position is,
"Associate Client Manager." I have never had to answer this question and
really don't know the proper way to. Please help.

compensation in this case would likely refer to money or other item(s).
They want to know how much money you expect/require to be paid.
