One slight problem with that plan, I think you have to show some form of
income if you are self employed. It is a good idea in theory. Walk into the
JC and tell them you want to sign off as you have just become self employed.
Then the fun starts when they ask to see proof of your income to get CT/HB,
and you show them your bank statements giving details of your ESA payments
which have now stopped so you have no money at all to live on, thats where
the idea falls apart.
Actually I did get a PT job a while back, 2 hours PW keeping a car park and
gardens tidy. The JC ignored it saying it was not a proper job. I think they
were afraid I might get away from their concentration camps. Some idle
bastards would lose £200.00 pw for doing nothing if I was to escape.
