money is already running

Money has suddenly started to display this message when I try to run my ofx statement from the bank without saving it first.

If I save it then import, it works fine. Beforehand it always worked when 'run' was selected.

The Task Manager shows that mnybbsvc is not closing down when I close Money.

I am using Money UK 2005 on Vista. I have Backup on close turned on and 'Ask beforehand' checked. Automatic backup is unchecked. I backup to a separate internal disc. I have also done a quick file repair.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I would disable background banking. See the first item on
Tools->Settings.

I've finally found the problem. Even though I was not using background
banking, I was signing in with a Live ID though I was not storing data
online. Working offline and using passport manager, I have removed this and
now just use a money file password. mnyssvc is no longer running.
