Money on Lap Top & Desk Top

Folks,
Can any one please help solve this Money problem.

I'm using the UK version 12 2004 on Vista for both my lap top and desk top
machines. I've created a file on the desk top and backed it up to a flash
drive. I've copied the original to the flash. The lap top will not open
either. It tries but then the program craters.

I work away from home and would very much like to update the file on my
travels

On the laptop, open Money using the sample file. Do an Internet Update.
That'll download any software updates, which should hopefully then allow you
to open your file.
