I owned a Deli in 2009 that went out-of-business and had started recording
daily accounting information into it. In June around the time the trial was
to expire we decided to close the business and the software was never
purchased. The accountant, this year, needs me to provide all that was
recorded but I'm unable to access these files. If I buy Microsoft Office
Accounting Professional 2008 and it was 2009 that I entered data into will I
still be able to open it. I can't find 2009 version online, just 2008

You can download the express version of MOA 2009 (it is free and almost
full version!) and it should open your
files provided you install all the service packs.

<http://tinyurl.com/3ahakt7>

You also need three Service packs to bring it up to date

<http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=88584AF6-2D9E-408D-BF19-5053873E44D9&displaylang=en>

If the above three links don't work, please let me know and I will post
them again using tinyurl.

I suggest install the program first and then try opening your files. If
they fail then try installing SP1 and
try opening your files again. If fails, then install SP2 and try again
to open files. And finally install SP3.
