QB 2010 Premier Accountant Edition

I currently run five users on QB Premium 2007 Accountant, and would
like to update to 2010. Can I just buy one or two licenses right now,
then purchase additional user licenses (for example, just to into my
local Staples and buy the single user retail package) as needed? Would
this be the exact same thing as purchasing the 3-user package
initially?

If you purchase 2 licenses now and a third at a latter date then yes the end
result would allow 3 concurrent users to access the same database.
