Quicken 2012 need to copy investment accounts to another quicken file

I have some old investment accounts in Quicken 2009, I converted the file to 2012 and it works fine by its self. I now need to copy the investment accounts to another quicken file but am having difficulty... I have tried both QIF and QXF but the investment accounts will not transfer please help.
