Correct me if I am wrong but did not he not say his wife would look
for a job.
There are lots of people from other counties working here, often they
have a better attitude than some English people.
But he did say he was in Cumbria. I went there for a holiday once. I
got the impression that most work was proably sessional and that was
hard to get.
At 54 there is a lot of age discrimination and people in that part of
the world probably don't like foreigners too much.
Someone said she should not come if she can't support herself. But
there is surley a big difference between someone coming here to milk
the system and a genuine marraige.
On the last point it occurs to me that maybe the poster is being taken
for a ride? That does happen
