I am considering QuickBooks 2003 Premier. Is there a more appropriate
software for my needs?

What I hope it will do for me is:
1. allow me to enter, and track my parts
2. allow me to enter and track my finished product inventory
3. Create shipping orders (packing slips)
4. Create and track invoices

I currently use Quicken for the financial stuff and I hope to tie them
together.. How will the inventory software replace/interact with Quicken
Deluxe?

Thanks in advance.

I have heard stories like this and i can only add (1) pay by credit card -
(you have some recourse to get your money back) and (2) download the
trial packages before you buy.

I paid by Credit card, mastercard.

The bank credit card company gave me a credit and now Intuit is sending me
letters threatening to put me up for collection in ten days if I do not pay
them.

Having used QuickBooks 2003 Premier in a manufacturing setting...
See what other options are available other than this software. Many
complaints regarding the problem with itemized inventory not matching trial
balance totals for inventory, etc. Check out the quickbooks message boards
on intuit.com.
