All Transactions Balance vs. Unreconciled Transactions Balance

    Hello,

Here is what I am experiencing:

    1. I have 3 bank accounts setup in Money. Only one is having this problem.

    2. This just started last week, nothing that I can remember specifically
that may have happened to cause this.

    3. What I noticed is that my balance was way off when setting my register to
only show unreconciled transactions. When I view all transactions, the
    balance is fine.

    4. I have tried both a quick repair and a standard repair on my file,
    neither fix this.

    5. I did find, in the Cash Flow Forecast, some transactions listed twice, so
the graph was all goofed up until I removed the dupe transactions in there.

At the moment, when I view just unreconciled transactions, my balance is
~600 lower than when I vew all transactions. Again, when in All transactions
mode, the balance is fine and all of my transactions show up with no
    problems.

    Any ideas?

There may be a hidden transaction in that account.
    Try the following:

    1. Make a copy of your Money data file.
    2. Open that copy.
    3. Delete ALL transactions in the problem account
    4. Export that account as a QIF file
    5. Examine the QIF file in Notepad.
    6. If it is not empty and shows one or more transactions, then those are
    likely the culprits.
    7. Note the details of those transactions
    8. Open up your original file
    9. Import the QIF file
    10. This should reveal the hidden transactions. So you can now do with them
as you wish (Delete, modify, etc).

I am also having this problem. I tried the fix suggested here and it
did not work. After deleting all of the transactions and setting the
starting account balance to $0, the difference ($6.95) between "all
    txn"/"unreconciled" still appeared.

I also tried repairing my file and downloading internet updates (two
other remedies suggested for similar problems).

Are there other options that people have tried?

This is the second problem that I have had with account balance
differences. Is there a fix from MS for these problems? Sounds like
a prolific bug in the code somewhere.

That would be expected for the thing Mark described. Did you do
    steps 5 and 6?
