I spent close to 10k on energy efficient home improvements in 2009 & 2010. I already got paid $1500 last year for a solar water heater. Can I ask for another cheque from the IRS this year for upgrading all my windows to double pane?... or did I already max out the tax credit? I heard it's not $1500 per year, but $1500 total for those two years.
