Q3.Dir folder on Desktop

    I know that this question has been asked and answered here before, but
    how do I stop Quicken from placing the Q3.dir folder on the desktop
    everytime that I do a backup? TIA!!!!!!

    Change your backup target?

    The desktop is not the target and the folder has nothing in it that
    Windows can open.

    From a previous post:

    - If you are talkiing about Q3.DIR, Quicken doesn't think it
    - belongs on your desktop, it thinks it belongs in the folder you
    - "Start In"; just alter the properties of your Quicken desktop
    - icon to "Start In" a folder other than the desktop (other than
    - blank); your Quicken data folder would be one choice.
