Hi everyone,
I am self-employed and am trying to work out my tax deductions. Some of my professional expenses were paid for by my boyfriend (not married or engaged), and I then reimbursed him. For example, some tickets for professional travel or phone bills that he paid for me, but that I then paid him back for later etc.

Can I deduct those expenses, given that the receipts will be in his name? Would it be acceptable if he writes a statement confirming that I did pay him back all of those expenses?

Thank you for advice!
