2002 monthly report closes-at wit's end

When I try in Money 2002 to run Monthly Report beginning
in 10-03 I get obnoxious message: Money version has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.
I have isolated the problem to an account that I manually
enter transactions-not a downloadable account. I have
tried so many things in Microsoft Knowledge Base that
have not worked. I have tried Import, salvage utility,
corruption issues, changing categories to those found in
Sample Money, ad naseum. Do I need to throw up my hands
in disgust and curse Microsoft? Do I throw in the towel
and live without Monthly Reports? Some one out there must
have discovered the secret to correcting this problem.
Sonmeone Help. Thanks.

This happened to me too.
As you know what account it is, try and get it down to which transaction(s)
within that account are causing it.
When you have achieved that, delete that/those transaction(s) from the live
data file (don't forget to keep some copies just in case). Check everything
works. Re-enter the transactions. Check everything still works.

This was successful for me.

Andrew.

Halleluia. I don't know what the problem was with Money
2002 but I installed Money 2004 Deluxe and lo and behold
I can get Monthly Reports now. I certainly hope this
never occurs again but at least now I have Microsoft
Support with Money 2004. Thank you for all the
suggestions. Good luck to all.
