2005 merge account

I setup an MSN Bill Pay account, but it created a new account instead of
connecting to my existing account that was already setup in Money. Now when
I try to merge the accounts, I get an application error and money crashes
and restarts.

Any ideas? I've restarted, I've repaired the file, I've disabled the bill
pay sevice and re-set it back up... nothings working.

I have a call into Money support. The tech I spoke to said this was a
problem with upgrading and had to research with Microsoft Technical Support
and will get back to me. So far, I haven't heard back and it's been over 24
hours.

In the mean-time, I've exported all my accounts, created a new money file,
set it up with the billpay service (which automatically created my checking
account), set-up my accounts (having most connect to the online service)
which again created a duplicate account for my main checking. This time, I
was able to merge the accounts without a problem!! But now, I have a lot of
fixing to do (duplicate/triplicate transactions were created in my new money
file). But it's working the way it's suppose to now. I guess 2005 just
doesn't like using an upgraded file.
