A happy night in Intermediate

J

Janice Davis

I am not gloating, but sharing my escalation in the fact that I scored and 89 on my first intermediate exam. This first test has confirmed my confidence that I WILL make it through the accounting program. I know that there are harder courses ahead, but if I can make it through the first test (which the lowest grade was a 27) then I am confident that I will succeed in all my endeavors in the accounting program. To all of you that are currently taking this course I hope you are sharing the same rewards that I am right now.

You may want to escalate your grammar checker... :)

think?

This is getting rich. I never said I was always grammatically correct.
Besides, this is a ng and grammar rules aren't required.

Granted and noted, and none of us are <always> , but you do have to
admit there's something about the juxtaposition of the malaprop and the
subject of the post...

Oooh....you were doing good up to there--I'll contend while informal,
care in choosing words <is> important in ng as that's the only way to
get the proper info at in asking for/or receiving advice...

And, no offense intended, note the :) I started off with...

Congratulations, Janice!

You did real good!
Don't let these small-minded, anal-retentive grammar experts detract from
your accomplishment.
You did good and should be real proud.
Whatever you do, don't pick an Accountant for a boyfriend or husband. They
are a boring, picky lot and not much fun to be around. Try to find youself
a free spirit person to be with.

Hope you have a great celebration of your success.

All the best in your future endeavors!
Peter

Congradulations! I also have aced both my Intermedite Accounting
courses (Part I, and Part II). The material and theory is not hard,
its just a matter of setting aside proper time to read and understand.

It is good that you are setting yourself up with high expectations.
And make sure you maintain that expectation going into Intermediate
II.

Chill, man!!! :)

Can't you see at least <some> humor in a post lauding grammar containing
such a malaprop? And, it was pointed out w/ a smiley to indicate it
wasn't vindictive at all...

BTW, I'm an physicst/engineer, not an accountant...

Thanks for the advice Peter, but my luck would have it that I am married to
an EE! I am quite aware of the anal-retentiveness of these sorts of people.
:) Love him a lot, but wish he could loosen up a bit too. Thanks for the
congratulations.

Let me say that my husband has also saved me from many a mishap because of
his extreme analytical ways. It has its pros and cons. Deep down I wish I
had at least half of his ability to assess unforeseen things. Comes with the
job and experience I know.
