USA Accountants Trial Balance software DOS version finally quit... what should we get to replace?

Our small firm had been using Accountants Trial Balance DOS version for a very long time.
It no longer functions correctly so we are looking for something similar to replace it.
If anyone remembers the ATB software, it was put out by the AICPA and was beautiful in it's simplicity.
We tried ATB for Windows in the past and wasn't all that impressed. We would always fall back to ATB DOS version.
Now we must replace it. We need something to prepare financial statements only. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know a good QB add-in that does financial statements?

QBO has very add ins available in the QB App store to make your financial statements and you can also design your own Financial statements in QBO or QB enterprise version.
