USA Accounting term

Dear colleagues,

Could you please help me to find a correct accounting term (if there are any) for the following expression: a request for cash spending or a cash expenditure request or something else.

Actually it's a document designed for planning and approving payments.

If you're referring to a document used by employees to request company funds for business-related expenses they have incurred (or plan to incur) every company I've worked at has simply referred to it as an expense request.

Sounds more like it's for business expenditure rather than expenses. In the UK we'd call it a Purchase Requisition. Basically a form that is completed when a team wants to spend money. It then goes through an approval process, and if approved, it becomes a Purchase Order - which is sent to the supplier to make the order for the goods/service.

Purchase Requisition is used specifically for purchases. Cash Requisition Slip or Advance Requisition slip is what is commonly the correct slip for any such requests.
