Apartments

I was just curious if anybody in here had any luck renting apartments
or other rental homes after bankruptcy. From what I gather, it's going
to be tough, but some may be willing. Maybe larger deposits?

Thanks

We rented a house with virtually no effort. There were many to choose
from. I think if you go to an apartment complex, that's a company with
policies, and you're likely to have problems. If you go to a house,
that's most likely a person, one who can be reasoned with. I would
suggest to them that since you've just filed, you won't be able to file
again for six years, and you have little or no debt, so you're actually
a better risk for them. I'd also have a good explaination as to why
you filed and why you're not having problems anymore.

I would suggest buying a home. There are many programs available for
people who have filed bankruptcy. Yes you will pay a higher rate but
compared to rent. It's still cheaper. I know of programs that will
approve you 1 day out of BK with No Rental History. You can email me
at (e-mail address removed) or visit my website at
geocities.com/loanseeker3034/index.html. I'll be happy to assist you.
