Hallo,
i have a question regarding UK VAT regarding shuttle transfers from and to our hotel (yes, we are a hotel operator business).
We buy shuttle tickets from a third party (0% VAT) for GBP 4.75 each and we sell them to our guest for GBP 5.00 each.
Currently, we have been calculating VAT on the sales of shuttle tickets.
My question is : Is this correct, or should it be charged with a 0% VAT since we buy with 0% VAT?
Note:
1. We purchase the tickets and re-sell the tickets to our guests/ groups, not to wholesaling them to anyone else.
2. All risks and rewards are for our business regarding the tickets. We do not own the vehicle. It is owned by a third-party.
Thank you!
