Assigning Tax Line for Each Account

News

What is the best source to determine the tax line for each of my accounts?
Is there an IRS document that spells this out, or do I need to go see an
accountant? This is a sole proprietorship, but I want to find this
information for all business entities.

Thanks in advance!

There is nothing scientific or exact about this.
You can look up a basic accounting text for
help. You should link printed expenses listed
on your tax return to corresponding tax return
items. Everything else is other income, other
costs (if cost of sale related), other expenses or
other current or long tem assets or liabilities.
