Association between Accounting and Outlook

I deleted the Accounting program from my cpt. Would that be the reason all
my Outlook contacts and Address entries disappeared? I was trying to make
room on my hd... and wasn't really using the accounting program.

Not necessarily. Accounting Program (I assume it is MS Office
Accounting 2009 or its predecessors) never came with any contacts
database or address book. MS Office 2007 and 2003 came with Business
Contact Manager - BCM for short (a SQL database) and Outlook comes with
address book.. BCM is normally optional and so it should not be
affected if you uninstall your accounting program. However, if you
uninstall Outlook, then there is a good chance your address book and BCM
would also be removed.

Unfortunately, I can't be of any help how to recover your lost contacts
and address book. I wonder if repair install of Outlook would do the
trick. Have you tried Office Diagnostics in Office 2007 and/or Detect &
Repair in Office 2003?
