Audit Wal-Mart sales tax collections

G

George Orwell

All States need to audit Wal-Mart sales tax collections, particularly on
internet sales where goods are shipped directly to customers' homes and
businesses. There is good reason to believe Wal-Mart pockets a percentage
of the taxes collected on each and every internet sale, so check it out,
Departments of State Revenue. This tip is from a disgruntled ex-employee,
the kind that brings chills down the spines of Wal-Mart swindling execs.
Former Wal-Mart disgraced Thomas M. Coughlin knows what I'm talking about
when it comes to Wal-Mart thievery. It doesn't begin and end within the
Company, but is a cancer spread throughout the land.

All states with sales taxes audit large retailers in their states on a
regular basis. In some cases they may have auditors working there full time.

For goodness sake, if you don't like Wal-Mart, don't shop there. Burt
please don't post nonsense, especially when you have no clue what you are
talking about.

I don't know the corporate structure with Wally World, so it's possible that
the "dot com" is a separate entity that doesn't have nexus in every state.

Hard to imagine that.

All the states DO audit Wal-Mart and other large retailers, virtually
for every quarter. I wouldn't worry about it.

Wal-Mart and Target have both registered to collect use tax on
Internet sales with all of the states that have adopted the
Streamlined Sales Tax Agreement, along with about 1,000 other Internet
and mail order vendors.
