Authentication not working for Money Plus

The authentication code that I was supplied after downloading does not work.
I've repeatedly tried to enter, hoping it was a server problem at the MS end
with no result. Infuriatingly, in order to get technical help, such as a
code over-ride, you have to PAY $35 for a single inquiry. Has anyone
encountered this or found a solution?

Was there a support link in the email that delivered your
authentication code?

Finally figured out the solution (one of those obvious solutions if you know
about it) that by running the program in administrator mode, I was able to
get the authentication code accepted. I must say that its a very round about
way of getting the code in. I understand that MS is trying to help security
by having user accounts and administrator mode seperated, but they need to
make it clearer that programs need to be installed in administrator mode. I
note that I was able to install the update in user mode, it was only the
authentication that wouldn't be accepted until I changed the program
properties to run as administrator only. Of course, this means that every
time I open the program, I now have to put in the administrator security
password. Seems odd since I thought it was only older windows programs that
have this problem of needing additional administrator access rather than MS'
newest product.
