Auto Loan - Down Payment?

I have set up a debt in Quicken for an auto loan. I would like to update the
debt to reflect the money I put down as well as the tax paid. Is there any
way to do this in Q2004?

I think your question is a bit confusing. The money you put
down is not part of the loan; you borrowed the amount left after
you made the down payment.

Did you use the Quicken Loan Setup wizard to setup the car loan?
If not, consider getting rid of your current auto liabilty
account and setting up a Quicken loan with associated asset
account. At the end of the loan setup process, you can specify
the value of the asset account and I believe there is also an
option to enter some tax information.
