Backup to floppy

Hello. My backup file is almost the size of one floppy disk. In standard
2005, each time I backup the file won't overwrite the previous one. It
keeps giving me messages saying that there isn't enought room on the disk.
I am forced to delete the old file and then backup. I never encountered
this problem on Money 2003. Any way to just overwrite the old backup when
doing a new one? Thanks.

Eric, I had the same problem. Forced me to upgrade to an USB flash
drive. I think Microsoft is sending a message to upgrade from the old
1.44 floppies to these new external flash drives in the future in order
to have an external backup. That's progress. Good luck. Steve

Thanks. I have one so that's what I'll do. Just as good, I suppose.

I don't think they are that smart. I think it's just broken and they never
tested it to find it or didn't care. Note that a floppy backup smaller than
one floppy happily overwrites the previous.

What is a floppy disk? Oh yeah, I remember it is that ancient thing
that
on my computer that I haven't used in years. The last time I used it
was
when George Bush One was president.

I always back up to either 750 meg zip disks, USB drives, and/or write
to
CD/ROM.

My money files (money 2000) are about 14 meg.
