balance sheet - previous year p & l

Hi all,

I am in the process of completing the balance sheet for our financial year and am at a loss as to where i write in the previous year retained profit/loss account - under which line as i need the shareholders fund total to incorporate retained profits and then the current year profit/loss

any help appreciated

Shareholder's Funds
Reserves and Surplus
Profit and Loss A/c
Balance b/d
+Current P/L
