Hi everyone,

I am wanting to fly to Hong Kong from Australia in three weeks time to form a company there.

I will be declaring bankruptcy in approximately 8 weeks, in Australia.

Will I be able to continue being the director of the Hong Kong company?

**Please note I intend to be fully honest with my bankruptcy trustee...I require a Hong Kong company as I work internationally as a consultant.

when you apply to be a director of any company and this includes Hong Kong, you have to make a declaration that you are an undischarged bankrupt. Therefore, generally, if you are a bankrupt you are not allowed to act as a director of a company
