Hi,
We need advice.
Here is the story.
A family with three children under the age of 18, where only the father works and the mother is not working, so they are eligible for working and children tax credit and housing benefit and they are receiving these benefits.
Now the mother started working part time, only 9-10 hours per week.
They are unsure whether they need to tell about this part time job to the tax office and to the council, as they are aware that any change must be reported to them.
Does the new job of the mother fall into this category? If not at what point do they need to, I am thinking here of increased working hours and more income from her part.
Every comment is welcome.Thank you for them.
