Hello,
I'm preparing to be a bookkeeper, but sometimes I find it hard to interpret the details listed on a bank statement for a given transaction...is it necessary to understand what every little detail means? Or does it suffice to just know that something was a credit and something was a debit to the account? I mean, some of the details have codes and things and I can't understand how I'm supposed to know what it means without doing time-consuming research. I do know how to do the journals and bank recs and stuff...
Thanks to anyone who can help..
