bugs in Money 2004

I have recently installed Money 2004 over Money 2003.
There are two significant bugs.

The dates in my autopay bills section for online banking
were changed from next month to various dates in 2004 and
2005. Thus my bills aren't being paid and I have to
manually cancel each of them and and resubmit all of
them. Microsoft doesn't have a clue how to solve the
problem.

When I download my checks from online banking, Money 2004
changes the payee. For example, the bank paid Company A
$104.25. When it appears in my Money register, it says
it paid $104.25 to Company B. Thus I have no idea who
was paid what!!!!!

I wish I had stayed with Money 2003. It will take hours
or days to sort out this mess.

I had a similar problem and the way I solved was: When you se a transaction
that seems like Money put automatically a different payee on the downloaded
transaction highlight the tranaction, right click and then chose unmatch, it
will show you what the bank has entered as a payee and you can choose anyone
you want in there. I think what Money is trying to do is see if there was
another similar tranaction and tried to match it.
After a few of these you get the hang of it plus money learns as well.
Hope this helps you.

Jerry,

Are you sure that is the problem?

In Money 2003, there is a problem where scheduled bills do not always show up
in the "Bills" section. However, that is only a *display* problem, and the
bills are scheduled and do get paid appropriately. They also get entered into
my check register some days in advance of their scheduled payment date.
