USA Calls for consultation

Hey all. I wanted to get some feedback on some rather mysterious calls our firm receives daily. The caller indicates that they would like to schedule an appointment for a consultation for their 2018 taxes. They usually have a heavy accent and the way they pronounce their name is inconsistent with how that name is usually pronounced. For example, one caller gave the last name Hernandez but didn't accent the correct vowel. The callback number they provide is also inconsistent with what appears on the caller ID. This person never shows up for their scheduled appointment. Has any other firm experienced they types of calls? TYIA
