Can Quickbooks print to a .PDF file

I have used Quickbooks Pro 99 and Quickbooks Pro 2003 to print statements
and invoices to an Adobe Acrobat print driver. I hear that newer versions
of Quickbooks will not allow this.

Anybody having good or bad luck with this ?

Scott

Ps - "PDF ReDirect" (Install PDFR.exe) is a free .PDF writer that works well
from most applications. I downloaded it at cnet.com and use it all the time
in place of Adobe Acrobat Distiller.

I am happily using QB 2004 to print to a PDF writer and so does QB
2005 (known as 2005/06 in Australia).

It is just another printer. I am at a loss to understand how QB would
stop it happening.

On the other hand, the latest versions have an internal PDF writer and
have printed invoices for several years with statements coming a
little later. If you use this option, you do not need another PDF
writer if you wish to email, but you may need it for other purposes.

Hope this helps

You heard it from those not knowledgeable in this area.
