US, to acquire more clientele for the CPA / CPA firms.

What I have done over the years is to get some clients and do a good job for
them. They will tell others about you and your services. To get the
initial number of clients, make some business cards and maybe brochures
telling about your services. Pass these around to friends, neighbors, and
fellow-workers.

This has worked for me for more than 40 years. I have never paid anything
for advertising and have plenty of clients. Word-of-mouth from satisfied
clients will work every time.

I have a local directory of businesses in my area and one of the most
oft searched for terms are tax preparation and accounting which means
there is a demand for such services.

While I do agree that word of mouth is the best methods of advertising
you will have to get the customers first. The first thing that you
should do is have a business plan. Having one is much better than
just "going along". While you have the potential for a lot of target
markets you might want to concentrate on one at a time. Tax filing
season is here and there is always a demand for tax preparation.

So at first you may want to concentrate your marketing to your local
area. You should give your area a good going over/assess it to see
what available opportunities you have as far as those who are most
likely to need your services.

You will have to prepare informational material for those that will
want to know more about your business such as how much you charge and
what services you provide.
