Cannot change interest rate after account has been created?

I am using 2005 standard, and I noticed that I cannot change the interest
rate on a credit or LOC account after the account has been created in Money.
Is this the expected behavior?

Here is how to change the interest rate in Money 2005 for a credit
card:

1. Go to Account Settings by right-clicking the account on the
account list.

2. If the Account Type drop-down is grayed out, disable online
access for that account

1. If the credit card is enabled for online access, disable that.
[M05]Banking->AccountTools->ManageOnlineServices. Click the credit
card account, and choose StopUsingOnlineServices....

2. Go to Account Settings by right-clicking the account on the
account list.

3. Change the Account Type drop-down to Liability. If the
Account Type drop-down is grayed out, you probably did not disable
online access for that account. (changing to Bank also seemed to
work, but gave a different setup)

4. Click ChangeLiabilityDetails. Change the interest rate. Click
OK.

5. Change the Account Type drop-down to Credit Card.

Wow. Online enablement blocks even changing the interest rate.

Out of the dim recesses of my memory I seem to remember that you could
actually click on the interest rate. Don't know if that was a Liability
Account though. Try clicking on the 12.99% number.

Bob, I was following the tips in the post by Cal Learner on how to change
interest rates. The account type was Credit card, before I changed it to
Liability. Nothing short of deleting and re-creating the account is
allowing me to change the rate.

Can anyone who is able to change the rate on a credit account, attach a
screen shot showing how / where?
Thanks.

Wow, changing the account type to "Bank" finally allowed me to change the
interest rate.

This is pretty screwed up. My experience so far with Money 2005 has been
hardly positive. I sometimes think of it as a downgrade to what I was
previously using - Money 2000.
