Can't Choose Lots to Sell

Using Quicken Mac 2004, I entered a sale incorrectly, deleted the
transaction, and then tried to enter the sale again.

When I got to the screen for choosing which lots to sell, there were
no lots available to sell, even though they had been there when I went
to enter the transaction incorrectly and, after deleting that
transaction, they show up again in my portfolio and in the security
detail.

I use Quicken for Windows, and there are some significant
differences between the Windows and Mac versions of Quicken, so
I don't know which of the following might be of help.

1.) Make sure you're entering the sell in the correct account.
2.) Exit Quicken, then restart Quicken.
3.) To aid in discovering where all your shares are held, create
an Investment Transaction report for that security only,
subtotalled by Account.
4.) If Quicken for the Mac has the capability, recalulate the
register of the appropriate account. In Quicken for Windows, I'd
put the cursor in the date field of the investment account
register, and press CTRL + Z.
5.) Try deleting and re-entering one or more of the buy
transactions that acquired the lots you want to sell.
6.) Make a Quicken "Copy" of your data; try the sell in the
"Copy".
7.) Validate the "Copy"; try the sell in the Validated Copy.
