Can't install Office Accounting 2009 Professional

I have tried several times (unsuccessfully) to install MS Office Accounting
Professional 2009. I previously had the 2008 version installed on my VISTA
Ultimate machine. The first time I attempted to install 2009, the program did
finish the install, but I could not access any company files - got a network
error. I had not uninstalled 2008 beforehand, so I'm not sure if that was
part of the problem. Anyway, I therefore uninstalled the programs (both 2009
& 2008), following the directions in an article which described the means to
completely uninstall the software along with the SQL server (KB 945462).
After doing this, I was unable to re-install 2009 at all, as there was a
problem with the SQL server (named pipes - see below log). So then, I tried a
system restore to get back to where my system only had 2008 installed and
found I could not open that version anymore. So I went through the uninstall
2008 and re-install 2009 process all over again. Still, no success. Here is
the error:

Setup failed to install the required component Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Express (MSSMLBIZ). Microsoft Accounting 2009 cannot continue. See c:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Summary.txt for more detail.

I would appreciate assistance on steps to get this resolved.

I found a solution to this problem: Turn off User Account Control and start
the install file by right clicking and selecting Run as Administrator. After
doing this I did not get the error about Office Conectivity Components and
Accounting 2009 installed fine.

None of these solutions helped me unfortunately. However; Microsoft contacted
me with a couple of suggestions. The first one - to download the SQL Express
(free version) from the Internet and install separately - did not work and I
still received the named pipe error. However; the second suggestion, which
related to certificates, did solve my problem, and I was able to install.
Here are those instructions - hopefully they will help someone else:

Certificates can also cause the issue you are encountering. Please try the
following steps:
Use the MMC Snap-in to View Certificates To use the MMC snap-in to view
certificates, use these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Run. In the Run dialog box, type the
following then click OK:
mmc
-or-
At a command prompt, type the following, and then press ENTER:
mmc
2. On the Console menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in. (From the File Menu if you
are using Windows XP).
3. Click the Standalone tab.
4. Click Add.
5. On the Add Standalone Snap-ins: under Dialog, select Certificates, and
then click Add.
6. Select My User Account.
7. Click Finish.
8. Select Certificates, and then click Add.
9. Click to select Computer Account.
10. Click Next.
11. Click to select Local Computer.
12. Click Finish.
13. On the Add Standalone Snap-ins: under Dialog, click Close.
14. In the Add/Remove Snap-In dialog box, click OK.
You can use the MMC console to identify the certificates at these locations:
Certificates (local computer)
Personal
Certificates

Certificates-Current User
Personal
Certificates
To install SQL Server 2005 Express successfully, export the certificates to
a file, and then delete the certificates from the Certificate MMC snap-in.
After you successfully install SQL Server 2005 Express:
1. Stop the SQL Server service.
2. Reinstall your certificates.
3. Start the SQL Server service.
