Can't see transaction in Reconcile Window

When I try to reconcile for an account with a closing date of 6/28 I
can't see a transaction dated 6/23. This account has
online-update/billpay and transfers from/to another account with
online-update/billpay.

If I change my closing date to 7/11, I can see this transaction. But
I'd prefer to have my closing dates on the correct day.

Any suggestions?

Why did you pick 7/11? What date did the transaction clear the
fi?

John, the transaction cleared on 6/23, and my closing date is 6/28. I
tried inputing the closing date for ever day from 6/28 until 7/10 and
the 6/23 transacation wasn't visible in the reconcile window. When I
tried 7/11 the transaction was visible.

What does the "Posting Date" say if you right-click the
transaction, then hold the CTRL key while you left-click "Copy
Transaction"?

Is the transaction a transfer? Is it an online bill-pay
transaction? Are your bill-pay transactions posted to your
account by the bill-payer when the payment is "sent" or are they
posted when the payment clears after having been deposited by
the payee?

(I don't want to hold out any false hope here; I do not know
what is wrong and I am just taking stabs in the dark hoping for
some luck. I don't use online billpay, so I can not speak from
my own experiences, but perhaps it is the billpay capability
that is causing/contributing to the problem.)

John,

That was it!!! The "Downloaded Transaction Posting Date" was 7/9. I
changed that to 6/23 and voila it works!!! Stupid hidden
functionality.

Thanks a lot for your help.
