USA Capital Lease (sales tax)

Needing confirmation:
Im capitalizing a lease regarding office furniture, the initial invoice doesnt include sales tax, however, our monthly lease payments include sales tax . Im assuming i need to capitalize the sales tax (which will increase the furniture asset value) using my own calculation even if sales tax wasnt included on the initial invoice, correct?
