I would like to be able to have my Chase card data be downloaded in the one
step update. I have been successful with other credit cards, but I cannot
get that to be possible with my Chase card. I can go on line and download
the data into quicken..but I like the automaticness of one step.. I have
made it inactive and re activated it...still not included in the one step
update

Hope someone can help.
thanks

The choice of download method is not yours alone to make; the
financial institution must offer direct download or you can not
use that method. My brother has a Chase credit card and as far
as I know, Chase does not offer direct downloads.

Chase only allows automated credit card downloads if you have a primary
account, such as a checking account, with them; otherwise, you must download
manually. I don't care for this policy, either, but it is the one they have
chosen.

I have a Chase credit card also, and I too can only use QIF downloads.
However, Chase does have capability for a direct download to Quicken,
but only offers it to account holders with banking accounts (checking
or/and saving).
I'm waiting for Chase/BankOne merger to be completed some time next
year, then I would (I hope) "qualify" for a direct download - I have
BankOne accounts.
