Checks - Address alignment

D

Dan Cramer

I have QB 2001 Pro.

For whatever reason, the address aligns just a little too far left for
our window envelopes to show the full address. Anyone have any ideas
on how to move the address a little to the right.

I have already checked the "templates" section and checks are not
listed. Perhaps I have to do my own check setup in template form in
order to get what I want?

Thanks in advance

Click on file/printer setup from there select on the drop down
check/paycheck. There is an align button press that and it will allow
alignment. If you are using the standard checks for Quickbooks and
standard #10 or double window envelopes this should work fine. You
can't just move the address section however it will move the whole form.

That's the problem. Each section should be adjustable. I guess that Intuit
just wants us to buy their double envelope.

I don't know what envelope you're using, but the standard #10 window or
double window you can buy at any office supply will work. Intuit
doesn't offer any check edit features yet in the program.
