Chinese accounting principles

Hi

As I am writing a concept about the implementation of an SAP system in
a chinese company located in china, one part is the whole financial
statement thing and I want to set up a checklist with the most
important items of the balance sheet and income statement concerning
valuation and closure and the difference between chinese and
international accounting standards concerning these accounts.

So there are 2 questions:

which are the important items in the balance sheet and income
statement concerning valuation and closure?

what are the differences in valuating these accounts according to
chinese and international accounting standard?

many thanks for your help

steve
