Client Management - Task Management

Hi,

Would appreciate if someone can advise what they find is great Practice Management Software. Ideally all Clients could be listed (with unique Client Codes) - The software would allow up to 7 users, monthly and recurring taks can be listed and allocated to staff, together with normal accounts jobs. Also desireable would be a link to MS Outlook and MS Word for Letter Generation.

Ideally the software would also be able to retain all correspondence for a client in a thread.

Please check out Javek. (Unfortunately the forum is not letting me post a link because I don't have 10 posts yet. The Javek website is "javek" plus ".com", or you could just google "Javek")

It doesn't do everything you are looking for, such as link to Word, but it does a lot of things you might find very interesting. Javek is a client portal that allows you to share files and comments within "events". An event in a Javek can represent any deadline or real-life event, such as a tax filing or a meeting.

For instance, if your client has a 1040 tax filing coming up, you create an event for the tax filing in Javek. This event gives you an encrypted, password protected web page within Javek that is accessible only to you and your client, and allows you and your client to exchange files and comments that relate to the tax filing. Javek can be set to send out deadline reminder emails when the event deadline is approaching, notification emails when one of you makes a change to the event, etc. For deadlines that will reoccur, such as 1040 filings, you can set events to automatically renew themselves on an appropriate schedule. Within Javek you can search your events by client, event name and type, and do a lot of other interesting things to manage your communication/workflow, such as import a client list from Lacerte.

There are demo videos and lots of explanation on the Javek website. We would love to hear any feedback you might have!
