USA Comp Consultant working across state lines?

Hi all,

I am a computer consultant and am planning to form an S-Corp. I currently reside in Florida, but work with a company based in NYC. I never travel to the office in NYC and do all my work remotely in Florida.

I am wondering if I can just create my company in FL, or if I have to register as a foreign company in NY as well, and pay NY taxes on top of FL taxes? Is there any particular case law to support this that you are aware of?
