Australia Consolidation of business segments for tender

Hi everyone,

I'm currently thinking of consolidating 3 subsidiaries within a group.

They are separate legal entities and have no control of one another.

I'm consolidating them because they belong to an operating segment.

Purpose is to tender for projects and not for statutory purpose.

Am I able to consolidate them? I understand that this will not be consistent with accounting standards.

The consolidated statements that matter are the final top-level statements shown to the public \ shareholders. Below that any combination of entities under your control is up to you for your convenience. Again as long as these are for internal use only.
