Hello guys !
Im struggling with an MC Question:
30. Under the weighted-average method, what are the costs per equivalent unit of “work done to date” for direct materials in June 2018?
A. $480.00
B. $550.00
C. $590.00
D. $673.50
the right answer is C. $590.00 but i dont understand why. The equivalent units of “work done to date” for direct materials in June 2018 are 32500 and the total Direct materials costs are $15,600,000. $15,600,000 / 32500 = 480. I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me ! Thanks in advance !
