I recieved a notice CP05 and it indicates that they have recieved my tax return and are holding the refund until they complete a more thorough review. The problem is that it shows the notice date of March 26, 2012. It says for the tax yr. 2011. It is only addressed to myself and not my spouse and I. Additionally, we have not filed our Joint tax return for this year as of yet.
I can't get ahold of anyone at IRS to talk too.
