Crashes when Printing (every time!)

Karim Ainsworth

I am running Vista 64 Ultimate and Accounting 2k8 (UK version). Every time
that I try to print anything from within Accounting the application crashes.
I can print fine from any other Office app other than Accounting. Any
suggestions? Is this a known issue given my configuration?

Hi Karim, sorry to hear you're having problems. We're investigating this
issue and will get back to you. Please make sure to send in the crash
reports if you haven't already.

Thanks,
Kollen

We do support Vista 64 - and we cannot repro the problem here. However, if
you can provide some information on your context, that would help
understanding what is happening here.
First thought is that there could be an installation problem, especially if
you have had previous versions of MOA as Alpha or Beta.
At what point exactly do you see the problem: can you try to print using the
print icon? are you able to display the print dialog? Can you preview a
form?
What is the default printer? Does it happen with any printer?
Thanks for more info on this.

HI,

I have just installed MOA for the first time and every time I try to print
it crash's out, I have tried two diferent printers with the same result.

Using Vista Ultima 32 bit printers are a HP9650c and Brother MFC-235c

We have 2009 installed on 2 machines, one vista one windows 7 (64bit) Both started to crash when printing, when they had not previously. We can get them to print by using the "file" "print" option. However, we cannot use the email function, as this causes the programme to crash.

To be honest, this software is very poor, and is flakey. We have used for 1.5 years, and will be glad to get switched to Sage come our year end in July. Sage may not be as fluffy, but it is better than this.

No wonder MS ditched it!
