I have lost old brokerage account statements for a stock I purchased pre 1999. I know the brokerage ( now out of business due to acquisition by another firm) and have my account number from when I transferred from this firm to an on line broker. Is there a data service that will allow me to obtain these old historical records broker records????? Some type of data storage firm that keeps old broker records?????

All of that is unlikely. If the stock was publicly traded then given you remember when you bought it you should be able to look up the historical price on the internet. This is approximate but is better than nothing!

Yeah, you might not need a data service, I would use the Internet as kirby said.
