Default Backup Location

Quicken defaults to my E: drive for backups. Is there a way to change this
to my F: drive or some other location.

What version of Quicken? You may want to looke for a quicken.ini file,
and it may have this setting. I'm not in front of my PC so I can't say
for sure...

If you change the location of the backup when Quicken suggests E Drive, you
change the E to perhaps C:\MyData, the next time quicken goes to back up it
will be your previously chosen backup location C:\MyData.

I had been changing the default E:\ to F:\, but after reading more posts I
now realize that I cannot backup directly to my CD-RW drive which is F:
Quicken just ignored it.

I have made a new folder on my desktop to hold backups for later transfer to
the CD-RW. Quicken does indeed use this folder as the suggested location
now.

Thanks for the responses.

Huh??? I back-up DIRECTLY on my CD-RW which in my case is E:\. I have
Roxio v6.0 that makes my CD-RW recognized as my E:\ drive.

My assumption was that they were talking about the automatic backup
location.
